- Another noteworthy experiment was Nano Palm, which combined diptych nanotechnology and machine learning.
- With the help of this technology, pharmaceutical research and development should go more quickly, with average costs dropping from $100 million to $4.54 billion and efficacy rising from 10% to 85%.
- Also highlighted was the utilization of 3D printing technology by King Faisal Hospital and Research Center to enhance patient care.
- With the creation of 5,158 virtual models and 1,168 printed models for accurate diagnosis and surgical planning, this technology has shortened surgical times by up to 30%.
- A noteworthy accomplishment was the introduction of SDM’s SAARIA, the first artificial intelligence technology for chronic illness diagnosis in the Middle East.
- With a 97 percent accuracy rate, SAARIA is intended for the early identification of diabetic retinopathy, a disorder that has the potential to cause permanent blindness.
- The Kingdom’s 7 million diabetics are to be protected by this program.
- Saudi Arabia’s continued investment in digital infrastructure was emphasized in the report as a major contributing cause to its rise to the top of the world rankings for digital sustainability.
